DBF Exemptions
 

1. Two Subject Exemptions
Candidates holding a University postgraduate degree (MBA/MA/Msc etc.) with passes in the appropriate subject/s may seek exemptions for a maximum of two subjects. Such exemptions will be decided by the Exemption Committee on a case by case basis. The decision of the Exemption Committee will be final.

2. One Subject Exemption
Candidates holding a full professional qualification or a University Degree from a recognized University with passes in the appropriate subject/s may seek exemption for a maximum of one subject. Such exemptions will be decided by the Exemption Committee on a case by case basis. The decision of the Exemption Committee will be final

   
Application for Exemptionss
  Applications for exemptions should be made in writing, at least 45 days before the closing date of applications for the prospective examination, and should be supported by evidence of the payment of exemption fees and documentary evidence in support of educational qualifications, attested by a bank manager or an attorney at Law. Late applications for exemptions will be considered subject to a surcharge of 50% of the normal exemption fees; provided such applications are submitted not later than 30 days before the closing date of the prospective examination.
