As per the IBSL regulation 12 (g), candidates who complete the Diploma in Banking and Finance (DBF) successfully are eligible to receive Associate Membership of the Institute and use the appellation AIB (Sri Lanka) after their names provided such candidates have a minimum employment record of 04 years in a Bank / Financial Institution recognized under the Monetary Law Act and the Banking Act of Sri Lanka, subject to the rules of the Institute.
