The IBSL was established in 1964 by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) as the Bankers\u2019 Training Institute (BTI Ceylon) and was incorporated in 1979 by the Act No. 26 of 1979 of Parliament, as the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (IBSL) (Incorporation).<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
